CASE STUDIES

A new ownership group acquired a 30+ year-old business and quickly ran into a challenge: the existing accounting structure wasn’t working for the business they were building. With critical deadlines approaching, they needed reliable financials and a system they could trust going forward.

We reconstructed the company’s financials back to the acquisition date, cleaned up the accounting, and built a new financial reporting system around how the business operates today.

Today, we manage the company’s ongoing accounting and bookkeeping, giving ownership consistent financial visibility without the need to build an internal accounting team. We also work with ownership on strategic direction, major business decisions, and board reporting.

The firm wanted more clients, but they didn’t have a clear way to know what was working. Their paid advertising wasn’t delivering the results they needed, their CRM was underutilized, and much of the marketing pipeline was still being managed through spreadsheets.

We took over paid advertising, rebuilt the campaigns, and then addressed the bigger issue: there wasn’t a connected system for generating, tracking, and converting leads.

We built out their existing CRM, replaced spreadsheet-based lead tracking, and created a pipeline that follows leads from first contact through conversion. We also refreshed the website and brand and developed new creative to support the full customer journey.

Today, they have a marketing system that does more than generate leads. They can see where leads come from, what happens to them, and which efforts are actually producing business. We continue to lead the marketing function and work with ownership on growth strategy and broader business decisions.

The accounting was getting done, but the numbers weren’t helping ownership run the business. The financial structure didn’t reflect how the company actually operated, there were no meaningful KPIs, and leadership lacked the visibility needed to make confident decisions.

We reworked the financial reporting structure, established meaningful KPIs, and built a budget and forecast around how the business actually operates.

Today, leadership has a clear financial framework they can track throughout the year, giving them a better understanding of performance and a stronger foundation for decision-making. We continue to manage financial planning and reporting and work with ownership on strategy and major business decisions.

A young founder came to us with an innovative product and a vision for what it could become. The product was there. The company around it wasn’t.

We helped build the business from the ground up, from establishing the legal entity, banking, and accounting systems to negotiating with international suppliers and preparing the product for market.

We also built the brand from scratch, including brand, positioning, visual identity, website, apparel, and the assets needed to launch.

The result was more than a product launch. It was a functioning company with the brand, systems, suppliers, and infrastructure to support it. We’ve stayed on to drive business development and help lead the company through its next stage of growth.

The company had a new strategy, but the existing team and organizational structure weren’t set up to execute it. They needed different talent, clearer roles, and a structure that matched where the business was going.

We helped the owners navigate a full staff turnover, redesigned the organizational structure, and hired a new team around the company’s strategy. That meant defining the roles they actually needed, finding the right talent, and putting people in positions where they could succeed.

With the new team in place, our work shifted to the owners. We coach them on setting clear expectations, giving direct feedback, having hard conversations, and making better decisions as leaders.

Today, the business has a team and structure built for where it’s going, not where it’s been. We continue to coach the owners, guide major people decisions, and help lead the strategic direction of the business.
